Remix stems
« on: April 06, 2017, 07:19:02 am »
Hi all,

Im fairly new to producing music, even though I've been doing it for well over a year. Since all my own ideas get shut down before I finish them I am thinking remixing is a good way to learn.

However, I can't find any remix stems! Are there any places to find them for free? It will only be for learning purposes, I won't release it and try to make money on what I produce from these stems.

Thanks for any input :)

Yeah. The only way to find some stems to play with legally are contests. Only other way is to contact the original producer. Truth is that majority of big remixes you hear everywhere were initiated by label or the original artist himself. It happens rarely otherwise.
