Acoustics, physics, mathematics...
« on: May 22, 2016, 12:23:58 pm »
Producing is not only about recording MIDI and then mixing and mastering it. There's a whole world out there with different challenges considering acoustics, physics and mathematics. i.e. Where would be the ideal spot to place a mic when recording a dog bark in a circular space made of wood? Should the dog be facing left?

Maybe a bit too obscure? :)

;D Kinda, but that's actually really cool. ...unfortunatelly I highly doubt you're gonna find too many people with expertise on recording dogs in circular wooden spaces. :D (...but you might find a lot of people wanting those samples afterwards, me included. :D)

I guess mixing or gear sections are more than ok for that. :)
