D, F,G and A minor

Depends. If I'm feeling like playing it safe, I use C major or A minor. If I'm feeling crazy, I would write it in C# major or G# major. Usually I write it somewhere in between.

Dmajor/Bminor
Cminor/eb major
C#minor/E maj
Gmaj/Emin
Fmaj/Dmin
Cmaj/Amin

I like to incorporate live instruments so often the best key is dependent on the limitations of the instrument! Those just happen to be the most natural.

I always write in C major/A minor and then just transpose to whatever key. my favorite is probably G sharp minor though; a lot of my favorite songs are in that key

basically this.

G gives me the best groove out of all the key's. Also has a good range of sub bass.

Definite G, F, A

I also use mostly minor pentatonic scales. Gives the most fuuunk.

Usually C major/Am if I want to get an idea down quick I can always transpose it later. On guitar though its usually wherever feels right for the idea.

I write a lot of my songs in F, Gb, G, and E lately because they have some of the strongest sub frequencies.

I love C minor but probably cause I'm most familiar comfortable in it. I played a lot of cello growing so really like dark moody music so I also lean on D minor.

Eb major is favorite. I improvised on Dearly Beloved on my piano for years, so I got used to to playing in that key. Whenever I noodle around I also way end up making shapes of the chords that belong to Eb major. I'm also starting to like F# major solely due to its I chord lol
