Looking for good Plugins!
« on: February 13, 2016, 11:13:52 am »
Sup!

So I just joined this forum, and I like it! I'm 13 years old and want to become a producer later    ;D

Anyways, back on track. I'm looking for some good VST hip hop plugins! I use FL Studio 12 64 Bit, and I'm looking for a piano, a drum kit, a bass, a violin, something electro, a trumpet, a voice changer and a synthesizer. Thanks

P.S if you have any other hip hop VST plugins you recommend drop 'em down below   :)

Hello! and welcome to the forum!

Anyways, if you are starting out, I would recommend getting to know the default Fl Studio plugins. If they are used with properly, they are capable of producing some amazing sounds. Go over to youtube and watch some tutorial on how to get started.

Cheers!

if you have just started then I agree with the above comment about learning FL plugins. Decide if it is something you are going to continue with.
then if you are going to buy or steal plugins:

Cant go wrong with Fab filter plugins for processing.
Synths I like - the entire korg collection, Sylenth1, Rob papen predator, U-he do some great stuff.

There are good free stuff .....check out the TAL plugins or kjaerahus if they are still making stuff.

Thanks! I'm not new to FL Studio, I know how to use it and all that. But I haven't found any piano or good drum there. Mind just telling the name of the default plugin? :P

Thanks

Has a list of all their plugins; what they do, how to use them, when to use them, so forth.

Worthwhile to read everything on there.. ya know "read the manual" soo under rated lol  :P

Piano: FL Keys

I do not use any drum machines as I prefer making making my own beats.

If you're in the market for a variety of instruments from one plugin and you are looking for a lot of acoustic sounds like piano, violin, and trumpet, I'd look into getting Kontakt. It has a really nice factory library to start you out, and its the industry standard for sampling, so you can find tons and tons of add on instruments and libraries everywhere.

As for the electro stuff you may want to look into one of the synths mentioned by people above. Every one of those has its own advantage and none is a bad choice, just look at each one and find what you like the most.
