does anybody here use splice?
I've checked it out and its confusing a little

I've tried it. The idea is great. Dropbox for DAWs in a way. ...but it essentially tries to read files while you work on them. System doesn't like it sometimes, so uploads fail time to time.

but I'm just confused how to use it all with the credit points, etc

I like the idea.
There's another app, Blend, that is simpler to use imo.
But I feel the nav menu is a bit tough to navigate.

I love Splice, I use it frequently for collaborations and backups of projects.

I also use splice. In my opinion, its quite easy as once you download the sample you wish to use, you can simply drag it from the splice window in the task toolbar and drop it within your DAW. I use FL Studio, so you may or may not have similar results with compatibility in other DAWs.

Splice is amazing, the comments feature allow you to collab in tracks quick easily, the samples are quite good and there roll more out weekly basically
