Forum app
« on: January 08, 2016, 06:53:57 pm »
Just curious to if there will ever be a forum app it doesn't have to be anything special just the forum in a easier way to browse when on the move, then using the browser since there's no notifications about messages or replys so if an app could that would be nice I'm no programmer so I don't really understand what's involved but just an idea :)

The site isn't really that complex, it's pretty easy just browsing it from the web browser on your phone.

I support the forum's app idea. If you have budget it would be cool to develop it.

I agree with Joseph honestly; I don't think an app is a priority at all. I feel like there are better ways the sight developers could spend their time imo. But yeah that's just my opinion obviously it's not down to me :)

coding an app from scratch takes a lot more time than you'd think...

I'd support the idea of an app. The site looks really small on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, bit of a pain to navigate.

Using the default web browsers isn't too bad but it's a bit of a pain to post and edit stuff, and just browse in general but just a thoug

Dude, we're just giving ideas. The app is a good one. If these ideas are difficult to execute, it's not our business. Let them worry about that. We're just brainstorming.

I'm guessing the cost vs reward would be a bit poor for this one.

This would be cool, it would make mobile browsing a bit more efficient.

an app would be cool, but we have a few other things that we're prioritizing before we start looking for people to make it.

I think it's a crappy idea, just like most apps are. I'm not saying that aggressively, by the way, I mean it calmly as an objective fact. Every little extra thing you can do on your phone is another thing you WILL do on your phone, and this will keep you on your phone instead of making music.

An app is actually a great idea and if any app developer is reading please get in touch.

Nadav, you forget that the majority of producers have smart phones and a lot of them tend to move around and want access to this pool of knowledge when they're away from their desks.

Check out Tapatalk, I don't think you need to make an app from scratch.
