Mixing/Mastering / Cut Very Low Frequencies?

Hey guys, i'm currently doing the mixdown of a track, and was wondering if I have to cut all the frequencies below 25-30Hz on the whole master?

Hey guys!

I'm producing since a long time now but I never really had a "studio", only my laptop in my bedroom with some poor speakers.. ;D

I'm thinking about buying some monitoring speakers but I don't have a clue which one I'll have to buy, also doesn't have a lot of money..

Can you guys help me on that? :)

still have to work more on the mixdown, also the build up is bad and all drops are the same atm :

Sound Design / What's your opinion on Presets ?

Hey guys, just wanted to know your thoughts about presets!

I'm more into creating my own sounds but IMO sometimes presets can be useful when I get a creative block or if I want to learn how a certain sound is made, and then fooling around with it to get a new sound

Mixing/Mastering / EQ'ing a Kick

I'm producing since years now, learned to do a good mixdown and such but there's something I haven't still figured out : Does a kick really need EQ or not ? If that's the case, what's the good way to EQ your kick ?
